About this event

It is now more important than ever to be on top of your safeguarding game. Your charity has a duty of care towards safeguarding for children and people in a vulnerable situation, this includes those who benefit from the charity’s work, as well as staff, volunteers and any other people who come into contact with the charity. Individuals across your organisation need to be informed enough to ensure that complaints and concerns are properly identified and acted upon.

You must actively work to prevent abuse from occurring within your charity, and you must be prepared to respond proportionately if abuse or neglect has occurred.

With this in mind, Cheshire Community Action are running a series of safeguarding events over the coming months to remind people of current guidance, as well as providing an update on advice and support available from ACRE and others.

Please register by clicking the button and following the instructions.

A zoom link to join the session will be emailed to registered attendees before the event.
